Vin Santo del Chianti Classico DOC 2006

The Vin Santo del Chianti Classico DOC "La Chimera" is made half of Tuscan Trebbiano grapes and half of Malvasia del Chianti.

The grapes are selected during the harvest and then left to dry on racks until the end of January.

After the start of fermentation, the must is placed in oak barrels of 55 and 110 liters where it matures for a period of 12 years. It is a wine with a full and exuberant consistency, sweet but lively. Absolutely to try.


In the glass it has a very penetrating and intense amber color, from the first glance the consistency is striking.

On the nose, notes of dehydrated apricot, melted butter, toasted almonds and candied fruit stand out.

On the palate it is persuasive, elegant, balanced and robust, very persistent.

If the goods are not collected at the second passage, the Express Courier will keep the goods in storage at its warehouse for three days.
