Tuscan Porchetta is one of the oldest and most recognisable preparations of the Italian pork butchery tradition. Our Tuscan Porchetta Artigianale is produced by selected Tuscan artisan producers: young Italian pig, hand-boned, seasoned with rosemary, garlic and black pepper, rolled and slow-cooked in a wood-fired oven for 9–12 hours. The result is a crispy crackling that encases white-pink, juicy, herb-scented meat.

🔥 Why this porchetta is different

Wood-firing for 9–12 hours is not a marketing claim: it is the technical condition that allows the crackling to turn crispy while keeping the meat moist. The initial steam seals in the aromatics, the embers form the crust. No artificial preservatives, no industrial shortcuts. The Tuscan artisan seasoning — rosemary, garlic, black pepper — slowly penetrates the meat during resting, building an aromatic profile that no industrial porchetta can replicate.

🍽️ How to serve it

In Tuscan tradition, porchetta is served in cubes as an antipasto or sliced as a main course, cold or lightly reheated. The porchetta sandwich — Tuscan unsalted bread — is the quintessential format of Tuscan street food. At home, thinly sliced on a board with artisan mustard or fig mostarda, it is the star of any aperitivo. Warmed in the oven at 180°C for 8–10 minutes, the crackling regains its crunch.

🔗 Related products

For a complete Tuscan charcuterie board, pair the porchetta with Finocchiona IGP — the fennel salami that is the symbol of Sienese tradition — and the Cave-Aged Pecorino Stagionato for the perfect contrast between meat and cheese.

🍷 Pairing suggestions

Structured Tuscan red wine: Chianti Classico, Morellino di Scansano, Rosso di Montepulciano. The tannins of Sangiovese balance the richness of the crackling and the boldness of the seasoning. For beer lovers, a craft amber or a Tuscan lager works well. Avoid light whites or sparkling wines — they are overwhelmed by the rosemary fragrance.
